The CPLA members give back to the community through our Grant Program.  Grants are provided to various types of community organizations for the betterment of our community.

If you would like to apply for a grant for your organization, please download and fax the grant application by December 1, 2015.  All grant applications are reviewed by the board and awarded by December 15th.

Bill Kitt, President of the CPLA participated in the Housing in Blair County - Taking Back Our Neighborhoods cable access show.

 

The CPLA provided grants to various organizations within the community in December 2015.  The money that was donated provided much needed services within the community through four different agencies located in Blair County, PA.

 

   

One of our members is involved with the Mountain Lion Backpack Program.  The Mountain Lion Backpack program offers weekend meals to families in need in the Altoona Area School District.  The meals are distributed through the schools.  They are holding a fundraiser event in October.  If you would like to participate, please contact Lisa Drazl at 814-934-1582 or [email protected]

The CPLA Annual Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10th at the Buccinese Club in Altoona, PA.  The evening will be filled with great food, music, and lots of door prizes.  Members are allowed to bring 1 guest.  Cost is $10/person.  Please RSVP by December 2nd.

The CPLA has planned a Night Out at the Curve for our spring outing.  The event will be held on May 20, 2017.  The cost is $10 for members and one guest, additional guest are $25 per person.  The evening will include a buffet and non-alcoholic beverages.
